Glare - We burn out the competition

With so many polishing centres around the island and each claiming that their product is superior, it's a hard choice to make when you want to send your prized asset to be groomed. Glare the American product that was launched in 2001 stands by its claims thru scientific test results as well as a 18 month limited warranty.

Just what is the difference between Glare and other polishes ? For a start, Glare is not a polish but a revolutionary sealant. It contains the Glassplexin, that seals in the car paintwork like liquid glass. It protects the paintwork from atmospheric contaminents and harmful ultraviolet rays from the sun all within a shiny and rock hard barrier.

Glare Pte Ltd the polishing company that uses Glare products exclusively send their product to Setsco Service Pte Ltd, one of Singapore's largest testing and inspection companies to evaluate their product's claim. A few of the tests conducted were

Glare passed with flying colour giving them the credentials to back up their claims.

Glare Pte Ltd is also the first in the market to offer a 18 month warranty on their workmanship and product. Using a gloss meter to determine the level of shine after the Glare treatment, it would be used as a benchmark for their warranty purposes. During the period of 18 months should the gloss level drop below 10% of the benchmark, Glare Pte Ltd will redo the whole treatment for the owner without any extra charges.

The Glare journey starts when you check in your car to their Glare centre. First your car's paintwork will be accessed to determine the appropriate treatment. Using Glare Ultra Wash, a PH balanced wash that is safe for all paint finishes, the car is given a good wash & using a high quality claybar to remove all embedded contaminents.

The car is then dried and prep for the treatment. First, all rubber, plastic and glass surfaces are taped up to prevent the accidental application of the Glare products to them. Using Glare Knock Out to remove the imperfection on the paint surface, it helps to fill in scratch marks and remove the oxidation to bring the paint surface to a near perfect finish. The Glare Spider is a advance spider web, swirl mark remover. It's applied to remove those annoying swirl marks caused by dirty washcloths. For most laymen, the shine is now acceptable for them but not for Glare. The job is far from finished.

The flawless surface is now further prep using the Glare Micro Finish that seals in the shine. the Glare Professional Polish is applied to bond the Glassplexin to the paint surface. This professional polish is not available to the consumer as it takes proper training to apply the sealant. Using an orbital polishing machine with a preset speed, the heat generated between the applicator causes the polish to penetrate the paint surface to form a glossy, smooth yet strong barrier. The X-Ray test that measures a cross section of the paintwork shows that the Glare Professional Polish has indeed penetrated the paint and a layer of the Glassplexin is right on top of the paintwork.
