We talk to Nico Rosberg, Williams F1's driver, about his car, Sepang, the other teams and, of course, his thoughts on the controversial rear wing.

Nico Rosberg stopped by in Singapore to participate in an RBS, where he raced radio-controlled cars against youths from the Student Care Services. sgCarMart.com had a chat with the Formula One driver about Sepang, the other teams and his rear wing.

sgCarMart: Tell us a bit about how you feel about your new car, Sepang and how it's going to perform against the rest of the teams.

Nico: Yeah, so we had a great result in Melbourne. We came in sixth and we had a really, really strong car, which was very nice. Sepang has a very, very different track, so we need to be a bit careful. Things can be a different. When we get to Sepang, we need to be a bit cautious with our expectations, but still, I think we can look forward to a good season.

sgCarMart: Is there anything about Sepang that worries you, other than the temperature?

Nico: Well, mainly the track layout. It's a certain type of track where the car can go a bit differently than in Melbourne, you know, so that's the only thing that I'm a bit concerned about.

sgCarMart: And what about your main rivals?

Nico: I think Brawn is going to be ahead again. And the main rivals for us are Toyota, BMW and Red Bull, and maybe Ferrari. It's quite close in terms of points.

sgCarMart: It's quite interesting that the usual teams aren't at the top right now, isn't it?

Nico: Yeah, exactly. Well, McLaren's behind us. Far behind us. It's very interesting!

sgCarMart: Are you worried about them catching up?

Nico: Erm, a little bit, yeah. Cause I'm sure that teams like that will catch up very fast. It's just a matter of when. We just need to keep developing ourselves and maybe we can stay ahead.

sgCarMart: McLaren is saying that they will take some weeks before they can catch up with the top few teams™

Nico: Oh yeah, they will take months before they catch up and I think they will never catch up this year. With Brawn, definitely not.

sgCarMart: What's your take on this whole rear diffuser issue?

Nico: There is no issue, our car is legal. So there is no issue for the moment, and that's it!

sgCarMart: Thank you very much and good luck!

Nico: No problem!
