Visual Prowess
For starters, the AVH-X5750BT offers improved video parameters to support an extensive range of video codecs including DivX, Xvid, H.264 and MPEG4.
Thanks to an improved DVD drive, drivers and passengers can enjoy clearer and sharper imagery. These images are delivered by more sophisticated graphics and the intuitive GUI is also easier to navigate with the new Home Menu Display.
In addition, the Music Playback Display sports more shortcuts including direct access to MIXTRAX, equaliser settings and list search.
Smart Connectivity
Besides extending this functionality for more drivers to use mapping and music applications to enhance their journey, Pioneer recently introduced AppRadioLIVE to make such contents even more accessible.
What AppRadioLIVE does is to aggregate content through a new interactive interface, allowing users to switch between a selection of mapping, music, news information and calendar events apps simultaneously.
AppRadioLIVE for this model (as well as the rest of Pioneer 2015 Multimedia Receiver models) is also now available for Android users.
To launch AppRadioLIVE, AVH-X5750BT users have to ensure that they have the latest 8.25 firmware version on their unit. Next, they simply have to download the free AppRadio and AppRadioLIVE apps on Google Play. AppRadioLIVE will be launched after AppRadio is launched.
Existing AVH-X5750BT users with lower firmware version, can have access to the latest 8.25 version through a free firmware update available here. AppRadioLIVE for IOS users will be coming very soon.
High-Fidelity Audio
Pioneer has made several audio enhancements on the AVH-X5750BT such as the 13-band Graphic Equaliser and the Auto Time Alignment feature, which delivers a more accurate sound effect through the three-way network mode - a function whereby drivers can calibrate sound by adjusting the distance from each car speaker component, such as a tweeter, woofer and subwoofer, to the driver.
Other improvements on the AVH-X5750BT include a three percent reduction in speaker noise level compared to its predecessor, and audio settings can now be backed up.
Greater Convenience
The AVH-X5750BT also features the latest Bluetooth specifications with Bluetooth AVRCP 1.4, which allows users to search music files from the browsing display. Drivers can also enjoy clearer hands-free calls with the updated Hands-Free Profile (HFP 1.6), which has doubled the voice frequency bandwidth.
More importantly, drivers get to manage more functions directly via the improved steering wheel control. Besides offering the usual functions of playing and skipping song tracks, drivers can now configure their buttons to rewind and even select AV source, allowing them to keep their focus on the road ahead.
