Don't sign for the Porsche just yet! Aston Martin has announced that the Vantage S is now available here in Singapore. And it's one tasty number.

Just what is the Vantage S, I hear you ask? Well, just think of it as a hotter and feistier version of the regular Vantage.

Total power output for the Aston Martin Vantage S has been bumped up to 671bhp

Total power has naturally been taken up a notch, so it now stands at 671bhp. That's a nice upgrade from the 656bhp that the 'regular' Vantage offered, and quite a bit more than the 503bhp output of the 911 GT3, no?

Total torque from the Aston Martin Vantage S' 4.0-litre V8 continues to stand at 800Nm, but Aston Martin is quick to point out that it has optimised this launch control system of this Vantage S, so the century sprint in this car is now dispatched in 3.4 seconds - a tenth of a second faster than the regular Vantage, and on a par with that GT3.

And when the road gets twisty, there's also new suspension upgrades for this Vantage S including recalibrated the Bilstein DTX adaptive dampers and stiffened rear springs, intended to give the model increased agility and front-end grip.

Aston Martin adds that the Vantage S now gets its rear subframe directly mounted to its body, to increase steering directness, and the car's camber, toe, and caster settings have been finessed to sharpen response and dial-in overall dynamic balance. Yum.

At the front, this Aston Martin Vantage S now gets new bonnet vents, all the better to exhaust hot air from the V8. While at the back, the model now gets discreet 'S' badges alongside a full width decklid spoiler.

This 'S' badging also now appear as embroidered logos on their upper shoulder panel of the car's seats. These seats also feature the Aston Martin wings on their headrests. The cabin of the Vantage S makes use of Alcantara and leather, set off by satin 2x2 twill carbon fibre trim inlays as standard.

The Aston Martin Vantage S is now available for order at Aston Martin Singapore. Prices start from $880,000 before COE and options.
