Bentley is getting a new Chairman and CEO as it continues towards its Beyond100 strategy targets to be end-to-end carbon neutral by 2030.
The firm has announced that Frank-Steffen Walliser is taking on the new post, starting from 1 July 2024. Walliser first joined Porsche in 1995 and is described as having been loyal to the Porsche brand ever since.
During his time at Porsche, the Stuttgart native was the overall project leader responsible for development of the 918 Spyder, and made a name for himself as the Head of Motorsport from 2014 before taking over management of the 911 and 718 product lines at the beginning of 2019. He has additionally been in charge of overall vehicle development (vehicle architecture and characteristics) at Porsche since 2022.
Walliser studied mechanical engineering with a focus on combustion engines and technology management.
