Bentley is concluding 2023 after having supported more than 320 charitable donations and projects across all regions of the U.K., a 150% increase against the previous year, as part of its Beyond100 strategy.
The firm is said to have supported a total of 200 charities and community groups as part of its small grants programme to support charitable organisations working with vulnerable, disadvantaged or under-represented communities. The selected charitable organisations are said to have a total projected reach that spans over 27,000 people.
Bentley has also set up a projects fund together with the Cheshire Community Foundation, which has supported 10 projects benefitting a projected 7,565 people in the local area. The firm has additionally established an endowment fund through the Cheshire Community Foundation, designed to generate income to be used for grant making. The fund will remain in place for the benefit of Crewe for eternity.
Bentley states that 2023 also continued to see a host of community investment initiatives for charitable organisations and colleagues that included the hosting of factory tours, match funding, as well as payroll giving, all designed to benefit the community by generating funds from fundraising events or facilitating donations for charities.
