Citroen has announced that French rap duo BigFlo and Oli will now join the firm as its ambassadors both in France and on the global stage.

The two artists have won eight NRJ Music Awards and three 'Victoires de la Musique' since starting their musical careers three years ago. The two brothers are also said to embody the values of sharing and solidarity, values which are dear to Citroen as it strives to be a brand this is both popular and close to its customers.

The duo and the Citroen brand are said to have encountered each other after an exchange on Twitter following the presentation of the Citroen Oli. After the musical duo questioned Citroen on the origins for the name of the concept, the idea of a meeting between the duo and Citroen came to the fore, and ideas for further collaboration soon blossomed from there.

Citroen has announced that it will be an official partner of the Rose Festival, an event created by BigFlo and Oli. It will support the event with a fleet of 10 vehicles to transport artists and partners attending the festival.
