This is the first four-door coupe in the premium mid-sized class that combines the sleek look of a two-door coupe with the functionality provided by four doors.

The BMW 4 Series Gran Coupe will be retailed at Performance Motors Ltd as the BMW 435i Gran Coupe, BMW 428i Gran Coupe and BMW 420i Gran Coupe. The BMW 435i Gran Coupe, is also available with limited units, in manual transmission.

"The BMW 4 Series Gran Coupe takes its cue from a large BMW Coupe, by combining a dynamic and sleek silhouette with additional functionality and more spaciousness in the rear passenger compartment," said Mr. Sethipong Anutarasoti, Corporate Affairs Director of BMW Group Asia.

At first glance, the BMW 4 Series Gran Coupe is an expression of extreme dynamics and refined elegance. With a length of 4,638mm, a width of 1,825mm and a wheelbase of 2,810mm, the four-door variant has the same dimensions as the two-door coupe. The track dimensions of both models - 1,545mm front and 1,594mm rear - are identical and highlight the dynamic potential of the BMW 4 Series Gran Coupe.

The new BMW 4 Series Gran Coupe offers a choice of three powerful, cultivated and efficient engines and can be available either with a six-speed manual transmission or an eight-speed sport automatic transmission.

Powered by a six-cylinder in-line 3.0-litre petrol engine, the 435i Gran Coupe can deliver up to 306bhp between 5,800rpm and 6,400rpm and generates peak torque of 400Nm from 1,200rpm to 5,000rpm. With an eight-speed sport automatic transmission, the new BMW 435i Gran Coupe can sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.2 seconds, with an average fuel consumption of 7.5L/100km and CO2 emissions of 174g/km (as per average EU test cycle).

Meanwhile, with six-speed manual transmission, the new BMW 435i Gran Coupe can sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.5 seconds, with an average fuel consumption of 8.3L/100km and CO2 emissions of 193g/km (as per average EU test cycle).

Offering superior performance, spirited power development, high-revving characteristics and low weight, the BMW 428i Gran Coupe ensures a perfect balance between dynamic performance and efficiency. Its 2.0-litre engine delivers a maximum power output of 245bhp from 5,000rpm to 6,500rpm and generates a peak torque of 350Nm between 1,250rpm and 4,800rpm. Century sprint is, thus, finished in just 6.0 seconds.

The BMW 420i Gran Coupe is a low-friction 2.0-litre power plant that can generate maximum output of 184bhp from 5,000rpm 6,250rpm and a peak torque of 270Nm between 1,250rpm and 4,500rpm. Equipped with an eight-speed sport automatic transmission, the new BMW 420i Gran Coupe can sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 7.6 seconds, with an average fuel consumption of 6.1L/100km and CO2 emissions of 142g/km (as per average EU test cycle).
