This morning Raffles Place was greeted with an unusual sight as crowds on their way to work formed outside what appeared to be a laboratory in the middle of Raffles Place Green.
Upon closer inspection, the droves of executives peering through the glass looked on as a group of fuel scientists with lab coats worked on what seemed to be a "breakthrough fuel".
While some sat patiently looking and waiting at the bright lights of the laboratory, others tapped on the glass hoping to evoke some sort of a response from the scientists hard at work. It seems that these people may have to wait till 8 October 2009 to find out what is happening as a red LED clock outside continues to tick down.
Something big is about to happen.
