For nearly two decades, former race driver Pierre-Henri Raphanel held the role of Bugatti Pilote Officiel, in which the appointee was entrusted with representing the marque and demonstrating its hyper sports cars to customers worldwide. As of 2025, he will pass the torch to Bruno Spengler to continue the legacy and take on his new role as a Bugatti brand ambassador.

From his early days in karting to claiming prestigious titles, Spengler's dedication to the sport has been evident in every race. Born in France and raised in Canada, he earned global recognition for his achievements on the racetrack, with seven successful years racing for Mercedes-Benz in the Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters (DTM) and 13 years with BMW M Motorsport.

Spengler played a pivotal role in BMW's return to DTM, competing in the championship from 2012 to 2019 and cementing his status as one of the series' most accomplished drivers with 16 victories, 50 podium finishes, and the coveted 2012 DTM title. His success also included standout performances in endurance racing, with appearances at the 24 Hours of Le Mans and the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship.
