Callum 003 by Annandale is the second of what will now be a total of six collectable single cask whiskies from the two firms.

Design and engineering consultancy firm Callum has announced its second collaborative effort with the Scotland's Annandale Distillery.

Named 'Callum 003 by Annandale', the single cask, single malt, peated Scotch whisky which is bottled at cask strength is described as the continuation of a partnership devoted to masterful craftsmanship between distillery and design, and follows from the now sold-out Callum 529 by Annandale.

Callum 003 by Annandale is the second of a total of six single cask whiskies which Callum and the Annandale Distillery will launch

The second of what will be a series of six collectable whiskies is said to sport a pale, straw-like golden appearance, and on the nose, offers hints of steeped dried fruits, toffee, black treacle and salted caramel, with this sweetness complemented by medicinal smoky notes. Its taste profile, meanwhile, is described as offering layers of sweetness and nuttiness before expanding to hints of cooked apple and golden syrup, followed by a back note of sweet tobacco.

The Callum 003 by Annandale whisky is encased in a bespoke, ceramic bottle created by Callum. The vessel's form is dramatically sliced in half; part featuring sweeping organic ripples, which contrast against the silky-smooth, structured texture of the other half.

For this second edition whisky in the collection, the beautiful and luxuriously tactile bottle is finished in an immaculate Pearl White glaze, while the striking presentation case is a vibrant and joyful Sunrise yellow, accented by Vitamin C orange.

The anticipated yield by Annandale Distillery is around 230 bottles at 58% ABV. Each bottle will be delivered with an authenticity certificate. Deliveries are set to begin in the third quarter of 2024. Those interested can order their bottle here.
