Customers in the market for a high-tech and user-friendly SUV can check out the DEEPAL S07. Designed in Milan, Italy, the S07 has features such as a 'Sunflower' screen that swivels to the driver's desired viewing angle, gesture-based controls in addition to voice commands, and a commodious passenger cabin thanks to the 2,900mm wheelbase.
The S07 offers superb practicality as well, with a boot capacity of 445 litres that expands to 1,385 litres with the backrests folded. There's also a frunk with a sizeable volume of 125 litres. On the go, drivers will appreciate the regenerative braking system, which is one of the smoothest we've tested in 2025.

Interior-wise, the cabin features new ambient lighting, along with larger screens for the instrument panel and infotainment. Interestingly, the air-con vents have gone from being digitally controlled to manually adjusted, making them more functional.
The G6 comes in two forms: Pro Long Range, which offers 218kW (292bhp), 440Nm of torque and a range of 525km, and Pro Performance with 358kW (480bhp), 660Nm of torque and a range of 510km. The Pro Performance is the most powerful G6 available today and comes with all-wheel drive, while its sibling is rear-wheel drive.
Family men and women, on the other hand, can get up close to the latest X9, XPENG's seven-seater MPV with space-age looks. The X9's unique features include a draught-free air-con system, dual wireless charging pads with cooling functions, a 21.4-inch rear screen, and a 23-speaker Xopera audio system.
The latest addition to the rear compartment is a pair of zero-gravity captain's chairs that enable two lucky passengers to recline as if they were on business-class seats in an airplane. These seats are also ventilated and have massage functions (like the front seats), making them the best seats on board.
For versatility, the X9's last row of seats are electrically folding (a one-touch operation) and can also be neatly stowed in the floor recess when needed, creating a flat loadspace for luggage and bulky items.
In terms of handling, the X9 is the only MPV we've tested with rear-wheel steering. At slower speeds, the wheels turn in the opposite direction of the front wheels to reduce its turning circle. But at high speeds, they turn in the same direction as the front wheels to increase stability.
