Fiat has revealed a new 600e, an all-electric crossover. At 4,170mm long, the Fiat 600e is shorter than the Honda HR-V, and is based on the Stellantis Group's e-CMP2 platform, which also underpins the all-electric Jeep Avenger.
This platform gives the Fiat 600e a 54kWh battery which powers a 154bhp electric motor and facilitates a WLTP combined cycle range of 402km, figures which are similar to those posted by the updated Opel Mokka.
This power output will see the Fiat 600e reaching 100km/h from a standstill in 9.0 seconds. Charging the Fiat 600e, meanwhile, can be done at up to 100kW via a direct current charger, enough to see the battery reaching 80% capacity from flat in less than 30 minutes.
Plugging the car into an alternating current source will see the car charging at a maximum speed of 11kW, which will ensure a full charge in less than six hours.
On the exterior, the 600e sports a similar split head light to that from the 500e, although the front intake is different, here giving the 6003 a more assertive look. This is paried with the addition of matt black skirts and wheel arches, while at the back, a roof spoiler and rear bumper complete with the Italian flag features.
Features in the cabin of the Fiat 600e include a 7.0-inch digital instrument cluster, as well as a 10.25-inch customisable infotainment display that supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Seats upholstered in Ivory synthetic leather here come with a 'FIAT' monogram in turquoise and offer three-stage heating for maximum comfort. At the rear, a hands-free powered tailgate will open up to a 360-litre boot.
The first units of the Fiat 600e are set to arrive in Italy come September 2023.
