The Honda Motocompacto utilises a 6.8Ah battery to offer 19km of range, and can be folded so it can be carried on public transportation.

Honda has unveiled the Motocompacto, an electric personal mobility scooter inspired by the original Motocompo. The Honda Motocompacto can be folded into its own compact and stackable carrying case allowing it to be carried along in a vehicle or on public transportation as well as stored in tight spaces.

The Honda Motocompacto comes with a 0.66bhp (490W) electric motor that powers its front wheels and is fed by a 6.8Ah battery. This battery gives the Motocompacto a range of 19km and can be charged via a 110V outlet in just 3.5 hours. Charging the Motocompacto can be done in both its folded and ready-to-go configurations.

The Honda Motocompacto measures 94mm wide, 536mm tall, and 324mm long when in its folded configuration

The mobility scooter is said to have been designed with rider comfort and convenience in mind, and accordingly, it gets a cushy seat, secure grip foot pegs, a digital speedometer, a charge gauge, and a comfortable carry handle. The scooter is also said to offer on-board storage, and users will be able to configure the lighting and ride modes up all via a phone app that connects to the Motocompacto via Bluetooth.

The Honda Motocompacto will be arriving in Honda and Acura dealerships across the U.S.A come November 2023. Customers in the U.S.A will also be able to order one via the dedicated Motocompacto site here.
