The brand's new employee ID card case integrates MagSafe capability and a modular reel holder allowing employees to carry it however they wish.

Hyundai Motor Company (Hyundai) has announced that its new employee ID card case has won the 2026 Red Dot Award: Product Design.

This new employee ID card case is said to be designed for greater personal expression and versatility. It integrates MagSafe capability - a precise and secure magnetic attachment system - and a modular reel holder that allows employees to carry it in the way that best suits them.

Employees can carry their ID card case however they like

Its traditional lanyard-style neck strap can be easily detached, enabling the ID case to be affixed directly to a MagSafe-compatible smartphone or paired with other accessories.

Available in two colours (white and clear blue), it features replaceable modules that help reduce discomfort, prevent damage, and minimise unnecessary full replacements.

This recognition highlights Hyundai's commitment to user-centred design and technological innovation, extending from advanced mobility solutions to everyday employee experiences.

Hyundai's MobED robot platform has also been identified as a "Winner" at the 2026 Red Dot Awards

Additionally, Hyundai has also said that its Robotics Lab's MobED (Mobile Eccentric Droid) has been recognised as a "Winner" at the 2026 Red Dot Award: Product Design.

Developed by Hyundai's Robotics Lab, MobED is a next-gen mobile robot platform designed to operate seamlessly across a wide range of terrains and applications.

And as a scalable and modular platform, MobED represents Hyundai's vision for future mobility ecosystems, where robotics plays an integral role in connecting and enhancing everyday life.
