The Jaguar F-PACE is now being offered with two new mild hybrid six-cylinder engines, for all those that need a bit more pace in their luxury SUV.

Jaguar has unveiled two new six-cylinder models for the F-PACE.

The SUV will soon be available as new 300 Sport and 400 Sport variants, also equipped with black accents on their exteriors for a stealthier look just as with the Range Rover Velar HST models.

Both the F-PACE 300 Sport and 400 Sport will get Windsor leather seats alongside an Ebony Suedecloth headliner in their cabins
    Powering the F-PACE 300 Sport is a 3.0-litre six-cylinder diesel engine producing 295bhp and 650Nm of torque.

This engine is paired to two variable-geometry turbos alongside a 2,500bar piezo common rail system to deliver exceptional responsiveness throughout the engine's operating range, alongside high performance with remarkable fuel efficiency. Jaguar claims that this variant will see the zero to 100km/h sprint accomplished in just 6.4 seconds.

The Jaguar F-PACE 400 Sport meanwhile, gets a petrol-powered six-cylinder producing 394bhp and 550Nm of torque, dispatching the zero to 100km/h sprint in just 5.4 seconds. This unit is fed via a twin scroll turbocharger supported by an electric supercharger alongside a continuously variable inlet valve lift control and a 250bar direct fuel injection system, which Jaguar states will offer superb refinement.

Both these engines will also come supported by a 48V mild hybrid system that sees its lithium-ion battery packaged beneath the rear loadspace.

On the outside, both these Sport models of the F-PACE will get 21-inch wheels finished in black, alongside Jaguar's Black pack, and black roof rails.

The models also will get Jaguar's slimline Performance Seats in Windsor leather in their cabins. These are matched to an Ebony Suedecloth headliner and Satin Charcoal Ash veneers, while the firm's 30-colour Premium Cabin Lighting also comes as standard for these models. Both models will also come with the recently announced Amazon Alexa integrated into their Pivi Pro infotainment systems.
