  • Jaguar TCS Racing ends Miami E-Prix debut with a shutout

The British car brand managed no points at its debut at the Miami E-Prix due to a series of unfortunate events for both its drivers.

At the 2025 Miami E-Prix, held at the Homestead-Miami Speedway circuit, both Jaguar TCS Racing drivers Nick Cassidy and Mitch Evans finished in both P15 and P16 respectively, with both falling behind their starting positions.

A series of unfortunate events can be attributed to the duo's downfall; on lap 16, Cassidy switched his Jaguar I-TYPE 7 from 300kW to 350kW and to AWD, only for a safety car to halt his progress.

The next round of the 24/25 ABB FIA Formula E World Championship takes place in Monaco with a double-header across 3 May 2025 and 4 May 2025

On lap 20, Evans got caught up in an incident between two other racers and, having nowhere to go, saw his race come to a grinding halt. This incident instigated another safety car, which was followed by a red flag.

The race did restart, but Cassidy received a further five-second time penalty for exceeding track limits and Evans did so from the back of the grid, thus cementing both their declines for the race.

With a quarter of the way into the season, Jaguar TCS Racing sits at P8 in the Teams’ World Championship standings and P5 in the Manufacturers’ standings.
