McLaren and LEGO have unveiled the new LEGO Technic McLaren P1 (read more about the actual car here).

The LEGO Technic set replicates the supercar in a 1:8 scale, and the engineering and technology underpinning the performance, style and functional design of the actual car is said to make the new LEGO set a perfect challenge for anyone.

The LEGO Technic McLaren P1 set comprises of a total of 3,893 pieces, and each car comes with a unique serial number which will unlock special behind-the-scenes content. The model also features a seven-speed gearbox with two shifter drums, a suspension system, a V8 engine, an adjustable rear wing, and opening dihedral doors - all guaranteeing an immersive building experience from start to finish that is authentic to the real McLaren P1.

The LEGO Technic McLaren P1 set will be available at LEGO's online store here and LEGO Stores from 1 August 2024. LEGO fans will want to be quick to secure their set, however, as LEGO states that all who purchase the set between 1 to 7 August 2024 will receive a LEGO Technic McLaren P1 Logo as a gift with their purchase.
