LEVC has updated the battery pack of its TX taxi and VN5 light van.
The vehicles now get a more efficient 34.6kWh battery to replace the 31kWh one from before. This new battery, LEVC states, will allow the TX taxi to now emit just 14g/km of CO2, while its electric-only range is now bumped up to 125km (up from 105km of before). This brings the LEVC TX's total range to a total of 536km.
The VN5 van, meanwhile, now emits 17g/km of CO2, while its electric-only range has improved to 117km (up from 103km), and its total range is now 528km.
LEVC has delivered a total of 8,500 vehicles globally since the first TX taxi was delivered in January 2018.
