Lynk & Co, Volvo's sister car company, has opened its first club in Barcelona. The club is not only a permanent location, but also the largest club the brand has yet out of its current list of nine clubs.
So, what can you expect to be offered at the Lynk & Co club? Well, the 'club' is in fact a dealership that has been given a more fun name. Deservedly so, as you can expect a more social environment to network with other owners, grab a drink, participate in events organised by the brand and take a test drive.
The Barcelona Club features motifs of an emerald mountain room in the living area The club is an eclectic, multi-story building that features bold sculptural centrepieces like an underwater swimming pool meeting room, fitting rooms encased in an emerald mountain, and a 3D-printed dome inspired by the belly of a whale to house the Lynk & Co 01.
Sustainability was a key focus for the Barcelona Club. Sustainable, circular materials are at the forefront of the design, proving that sustainability can be just as much about aesthetics as it is about functionality. Like all of the other Clubs, the Barcelona Club will feature products from eco-friendly brands and run off of 100% renewable energy.
