Maserati has launched the MC Edition special models, available for the V8-equipped Ghibli, Levante and Quattroporte.
The MC Edition cars (short of Maserati Corse) celebrate the firm's racing heritage and spirit.
The MC Edition cars get yellow and blue stitching on their Nero Pienofiore black leather seats, along with special logos on their headrests To this end, the cars are available in just two colours: Giallo Corse (yellow) and Blue Vittoria. The colours of the city of Modena, home of Maserati, the yellow and blue are also said to symbolise the Motor Valley of Italy.
To complement the exterior finish, the Levante MC Edition also gets 22-inch wheels, with those on the MC Edition Ghibli and Quattroporte coming in as 21-inch items. These are finished in gloss black, and house blue brake calipers across the range. The models also all get special badges on the rear fender and B-pillar.
On the inside, the cars all get components finished in blue carbon fibre, further carrying the motorsport theme on the outside. There's yellow and blue stitching on the seats, which are upholstered with natural Nero Pienofiore black leather and denim accents. The seats also get headrests embellished with the MC Edition logo, while a dedicated badge rests on the centre of the console of the cars.
An electronic sunroof alongside the Bowers and Wilkins surround sound system and Maserati's Driver Assistance package complete the additional items of the MC Edition cars.
