Porsche has announced that the revamped Taycan is currently undergoing final intensive testing ahead of its market arrival, which is set for early 2024.

The firm states that the all-electric sedan, alongside its Cross Turismo and Sport Turismo variants, have already covered a total of 3.6 million test kilometres over proving grounds, racetracks, as well as public roads around the world.

These kilometres comprised of 300,000km of driving in cold-country conditions and 200,000km in hot locations, where the cars are said to have seen temperatures as low as -41 degrees Celsius in Finland, north of the Arctic Circle, and temperatures as high as 53 degrees Celsius, in California's Death Valley.

The updated Taycan is said to have demonstrated its handling prowess on frozen lakes and deep snow, as well as the reliability of its battery charging and thermal management system in the soaring temperatures of Death Valley.
