Renault Boreal gets a new production hub and powertrain

Renault has revealed that its Boreal SUV, which was unveiled in 2025, has entered a new phase with the opening of a second production hub in Turkiye.

This expansion reinforces the model's industrial footprint and enables exports to a group of markets across Eastern Europe, the Middle East, and the North and Sub-Saharan Africa.

And the Boreals that will be produced in Turkiye will be the first model worldwide to feature Renault's new 158bhp full hybrid E-Tech powertrain. It will also be launched locally with the turbo TCe EDC 143bhp engine as an option.

Renault has also said that it will further expand the range in Q4 2026 with the addition of the hybrid E-Tech 4x4 148bhp version.
