Cupra has announced an expansion of the engine options available for the Ateca SUV.
Joining the 296bhp 2.0-litre unit is now a new 188bhp 2.0-litre option, as well as a 148bhp 1.5-litre engine. Both these new engines will come paired to a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission but the new 2.0-litre unit will also come with the firm's 4Drive all-wheel drive technology.
The Cupra Ateca also gets a revised rear diffuser, while in its cabin, customers will be able to get Cupra Bucket seats to go along with their Cupra steering wheel, the latter now available with satellite control.
The new linup of engines will be available for order globally come July 2023.
