Porsche Singapore has transformed a luxury villa within Raffles Sentosa Singapore into the 'House of Turbo'. 

With the Panamera Turbo E-Hybrid and the Taycan Turbo S parked out front and Porsche-themed decorations within, the villa has been transformed into a stage for the local launch of the new 911 Turbo S.

Sitting pretty, right beside the pool, is a luxury supersports car that combines mind-boggling performance with everyday usability. The 911 Turbo S has always been known to be supremely capable across many different driving scenarios and is often called the 'Swiss army knife' of the car world. With the latest iteration, the Turbo S has been brought to all new heights.

Powered by a 3.6-litre flat six engine now supported by Porsche's T-Hybrid technology, which employs two electric turbos, the new Turbo S puts out an unprecedented 701bhp and a total of 800Nm of torque. This makes it the most powerful production 911 yet. The Turbo S offers near-hypercar levels of performance, decimating the century sprint in just 2.5 seconds while accomplishing the 0-200km/h sprint in 8.4 seconds and keeps going on to reach a top speed of 322km/h.

The T-Hybrid technology, which debuted in the 911 Carrera GTS has been further enhanced in this application to result in a gain of 60bhp. But sheer power isn't the only benefit: The eTurbos also work to improve the responsiveness of the powertrain, offering immediate power on tap.

Wider rear tyres and upsized Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes, along with ehPDCC keep the Turbo S well in your control

Engine aside, the 911 Turbo S has also seen upgrades all round. The rear axle is now fitted with 325/30 ZR 21 tyres, which are 10mm wider than those on the preceding model. The Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB) also gets a pad upgrade along with 420mm front and 410mm rear rotors - the largest PCCB brake system on a two-door Porsche ever.

Meanwhile, a new electro-hydraulically controlled Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control (ehPDCC) system also reduces the Turbo S' tendency to roll when changing direction and increases agility when entering and exiting corners.

Active aero components intelligently reduce lift or drag as and when required

Exterior updates to the new Turbo S come with aerodynamic benefits - the new pieces include the active vertically arranged cooling air flaps on either side of the front bumper, an active front diffuser with a variable front lip spoiler, along with an extendable and tilting rear wing. These active aero components intelligently reduce lift or drag depending on their deployment.

Turbonite elements and the wide, vented rear arches immediately let you know that you are looking at a Turbo S

The new 911 Turbo S continues to differentiate itself with its iconic wide, vented rear arches. The Turbo S also gets model-specific inserts in the rear wing slats and side window strips. Additionally, Turbo-specific Turbonite elements including the specially coloured Porsche crest and the 'Turbo S' lettering are also present to reinforce the car's exclusivity. New center lock rims in Turbonite are also available to complete the package on the Turbo S.

Owners who want a unique Turbo S can further personalise it with the comprehensive options available and this include even minor details such as wipers - for the first time lightweight wiper arms made of carbon, can be ordered at an additional cost of $7,153.
