The R-Design enhances the XC60's looks and also promises a better driving experience, by tweaking the steering system to be more direct and communicative with the road. The chassis has been stiffened, with stronger damping to improve handling ability.
The package will be officially unveiled at September's Frankfurt Motor Show, and will include many styling parts. Among them are skid plates, trim mouldings, colour-coded lower body mouldings, twin-chromed tailpipes, 18-inch five spoke wheels and silk metal finishes for the front fog lamp surrounds and front grille, with an R-Design badge upfront. 20-inch wheels are available as options.
Inside, the car features unique sport seats with embossed R-Design logos on the headrests, aluminium sport pedals, choice of beige or black leather upholstery, and special R-Design blue gauges and centre console.
