First previewed at the 2026 SG Motor Show, the Deepal S05 is Changan's latest local offering that comes with Cat A COE and 485km of range.
The ceremony included a kick-off by members from both sides, before the waving of a departure flag commences Changan's long distance European test drive.
Deepal's local lineup is set to expand once the S05, a compact-to-mid-sized electric SUV, is homologated. The model is set to enter the Cat A COE market.
Changan's first international NEV production base in Rayong, Thailand has launched production, with its annual capacity expected to double by 2027.
