As of now, LTA has said that this idea is currently subject to tweaks, with plans to gather further feedback and views on the proposed design and approach.
Apparently it seems LTA does not only have a problem with speeding violators, there is an increase in the number of illegal licence plates as well.
As announced by LTA on 29 August 2009, the e-Day Licence will replace the current paper licence from 23 November 2009 when an Off-Peak Car (OPC) is used during restricted hours
