An overhead bridge along Balestier Road was damaged last night when the arm of an excavator being ferried on a trailer had crashed into it.
The body of the excavator operator involved in a freak incident yesterday at the site of Novena Ville was extricated and pronounced dead on scene.
Rescue efforts are underway for the excavator driver who has been trapped in his overturned machine at a construction site in Novena Ville.
