Rene Gerhard will assume the role from 1 February 2026, with his predecessor, Lars Nielsen, set to relocate to Munich.
In the region, BMW Asia recorded a 13% growth in Q1 as compared to 2024, with Singapore experiencing a 12% growth in the same period.
Mr. Lars Nielsen will take up the position of Managing Director of BMW Group Asia with effect from 1 September 2021.
