Besides keeping commuters in the loop with the monthly updates, LTA will also track other indicators of rail reliability besides the MKBF benchmark.
The panel comprises of five members who have held key engineering and management roles in the rail sector globally.
The taskforce includes not just SMRT and SBS Transit, but also specialists from the rail sector, and will address recent MRT and LRT service disruptions.
