  • Citroen unveils Elo concept car

The Elo concept car was designed to be a place to rest, play, or work, and can transform into a sleeping space for two or a home cinema, among others.

Citroen has unveiled the Elo, a concept car described as an ideas laboratory that explores different areas to inspire the brand’s thinking for tomorrow.

A true living space, Elo was designed to be an everyday companion: A place to rest, play, or work thanks to its complete and intuitive modularity. It takes full advantage of a 100% electric architecture by offering a small size that conceals exceptional interior space. Despite its compact minivan design (4,100mm), its ultra-spacious and modular interior can accommodate up to six people.

The Elo's "friendly face" embodies a resolutely joyful and convivial vision of mobility

The standard model has four seats with a centrally positioned driver's seat, which offers a new feeling of visibility with a 180° windscreen and a modern, ingenious interface, while rear passengers enjoy immense space. The driver's seat on its special mounting can be turned around for conversation or work. And if necessary, two additional seats can be deployed to carry a total of six people.

Elo can also be transformed into a sleeping space for two people, a home cinema room, a power supply, and many other uses.

The Elo carries two air mattresses folded into special storage compartments in the boot without having any impact on total load capacity

Following on from its previous Oli concept in 2022, where information and apps were projected onto the "Smartband" (a wide horizontal strip at the bottom of the windscreen), Citroen has developed a new version of this display for its 2025 concept. The flat screens are reflected on a transparent screen equipped with a reflective film, creating a magical effect. The colourful information appears to float transparently across the entire width of the windscreen, allowing the driver to access all the information without taking their eyes off the road.

And more importantly, this new display needs far less expensive technology in terms of development and potential production than a conventional head-up display.

Citroen has said that the Elo concept car will make its world debut at the Brussels Motor Show on 9 January 2026.
