The Goodyear Assurance MaxGuard is designed for all who have safety as their priority when looking for a set of tyres.

Goodyear Singapore has launched Assurance MaxGuard, its latest member of its Assurance family of tyres, designed to offer high driving safety for all drivers.

The Assurance MaxGuard tyre comes equipped with the firm's ActiveGrip Technology, which makes use of a water-wave thread pattern that helps to increase friction with the road while optimising its cavity shape to increase its contact patch. Both these touches allow the tyre to deliver better performance on wet roads alongside a shorter braking distance.

The new tyre also makes use of a new generation of full silica tread compound with 80% more silica combined with a wet booster resin can adjust to the road roughness to achieve a stronger grip on the road, especially under wet conditions. The Goodyear Assurance MaxGuard also makes use of the firm's DuraGuard Technology, with a two-layer carcass ply with higher cord density and strength and two belts with high tensile steel to allow the tyre to cope with unexpected cuts and impacts. The Assurance MaxGuard is additionally built to deliver the very best in mileage, thanks to its enhanced wearable rubber volume and use of high-performance polymers matrix for good wear resistance.

The full range of the Assurance MaxGuard is available in 33 sizes and Goodyear Singapore plans to import sizes relevant to Singapore so that it will fit a variety of family sedans as well as models including the Honda HR-V, Toyota Corolla Altis, Toyota Prius, and the Toyota Noah. More information on the new tyre and available sizes is available via Goodyear Singapore's website here.
