Jaguar has built the final F-Type.

The car, a convertible, comes equipped with a 5.0-litre V8 and is finished in Giola Green while sporting a black roof and Tan Windsor leather in its cabin - a specification similar to that of the 5.3-litre V12 final E-type Series III Convertible built in 1974.

The special car will be kept by the Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust and will sit alongside its E-type predecessor in the official Jaguar Heritage collection. It is scheduled to take part in a series of special events and activities through 2024.

Both F-TYPE and E-type marked the end of their production on almost the same day and on the threshold of a new and exciting era. Just as the last E-type in 1974 heralded the birth of the radical Jaguar XJ-S, the final F-TYPE has been produced as Jaguar readies an even bolder transformation. Jaguar states its new era will be spearheaded by a four-door electric grand tourer that will be revealed in 2025. A total of 87,731 F-TYPEs have been produced.
