CLK 63 AMG Coupe and Cabriolet

Mercedes-Benz is set to create an unforgettable driving experience with the launch of the exclusive CLK 63 AMG Coupe and Cabriolet; the new top-of-the-range V8 performance models.

Designed for high performance, the newly developed AMG 6208cc V8 naturally aspirated engine replaces the CLK 55 AMG and offers outstanding performance enhancements over the previous engine. The CLK 63 AMG boasts an output of 481 hp and 630 Nm, making it one of the most powerful engines in its class. With exhilarating high-revving flexibility accompanied by high pulling power at low engine speeds, the new AMG V8 delivers 500 Nm of torque to the crankshaft as low down as 2000 rpm, while the maximum of 630 Nm is on tap at 5000 rpm. The new AMG SPEEDSHIFT 7G-TRONIC transmission is the perfect complement to the dynamic power delivery and can be operated using the shift paddles on the new AMG sports steering wheel.

Equipped with re-tuned AMG sports suspension and AMG 18-inch light-alloy wheels with new five spoke styling and a new AMG high-performance composite brake system ensures this particular top athlete has just what it takes to deliver sporty handling and is equally adept when coming to a halt.

The dynamic AMG body styling, featuring a new, more distinctively contoured front apron with side air vents and spoiler lip on boot lid, reinforces the CLK 63 AMG's position as a sporty flagship model combining dynamism with exclusiveness. These qualities extend to the interior, which includes the new AMG ergonomic sports steering wheel with shift paddles, multi-contour AMG sports seats and exclusive Nappa leather upholstery.

0-62.5 mph in just 5.2 seconds, with the Cabriolet only 0.1 seconds behind. With a top speed of 155 mph (electronically limited), the new CLK 500 Coupe and Cabriolet still manages to return an excellent combined fuel consumption figure of 24.8 and 24.4 mpg respectively.
