In 2014, the V-Class ushered in a new segment for Mercedes-Benz: The limousine in XXL format. Now, in celebration of its 10th anniversary, the brand has unveiled a new model: The all-new V-Class Marco Polo HORIZON recreational vehicle.
Offering nearly all the innovations of the V-Class, the vehicle received updates to its exterior, featuring a new striking radiator grille which, depending on the selected feature package, is also framed with an LED light strip. Other features include MULTIBEAM LED headlights and redesigned rear LED lights, as well as new paint colours and wheel designs.
In its interior, it sports a modern widescreen cockpit with two 12.3-inch displays, stylish air vents, steering wheel, and centre console. Innovative features include the KEYLESS Start function and steering wheel heating, and ambient lighting with a choice of 64 colours.
The HORIZON can fit up to seven seats and five sleeping berths. Standard features include sliding doors on both sides, a three-seat bench/reclining bench, and a bed in the pop-up roof, as well as two swivelling front seats.
Six feature packages will be offered with the vehicle, from the AMG Line or the Night Package to the Premium Plus package, which includes additional features such as black leather seat covers, THERMOTRONIC four-zone automatic climate control, live traffic information, and the Parking Package with a 360-degree camera.
The HORIZON is available with the OM654 diesel engine, with rear-wheel drive as standard or optional all-wheel drive.
