Lukas Wenzhofer has won the favour of the jury at Opel with his Rocks e-xtreme, an all-terrain electric car, which Opel has promised to bring to reality.

Opel has called on creative talents and design students to create their very own Rocks-e design for the Rocks-e Design Hack, which saw designers from around the globe take part in the social media contest.

Lukas Wenzhofer, who comes from Hunfelden, and studies at the University of Design in Pforzheim/Baden-Wurttemberg, convinced the jury from Opel with his interpretation of the Opel Rocks-e as an all-terrain electric fun-mobile, the Rocks e-xtreme.

The Rocks e-xtreme is an all-terrain, fully electric vehicle with outward-facing wheels for a secure stance
Opel will be building the winning design as a unique Rocks-e.

The Rocks e-xtreme is an all-terrain, fully electric vehicle with outward-facing wheels for a wide, secure stance, double wishbones at the front, plus a bright yellow roll bar.

At the rear, the spoiler with the turquoise-coloured inscription 'e-xtreme' and the number '001', aim to show the uniqueness of the battery-electric two-seater fulfilling its purpose to offer driving fun off the track.
