Renault has releasd a teaser image of an upcoming hotter Twingo, which will make its global debut later this month. 

The rear-engine, rear-wheel drive Twingo is set to get performance enhancements, evidenced by the Renault Sport badging in the teaser image. While official details have not been made known, we can expect a sportier chassis setup as well as a boost in power output from the 900cc turbocharged DCE engine. 

The new range-topping model is likely to be badged as a GT rather than a full blown Renault Sport Twingo R.S.
