Mazda has announced that it will be unveiling a new plug-in hybrid variant of the MX-30, which should squelch any range anxiety to start. But more interesting, perhaps, is the fact that it will come complete with a rotary engine, which is set to act as a range extender.
No further details have been provided about this drivetrain, although the firm does accompany the annocement with an interesting logo as pictured above. Mazda does state that the car will be unveiled at the 2023 Brussels Motor Show come 13 January, at 5:00pm Singapore time.
