2024 will go down as one of the most successful in Porsche's long-distance history, clinching seven of eight possible titles with the Porsche 963, in part thanks to the improvement of the team structure and the reliability and performance of the 515kW (691bhp) hybrid prototype.

The overall result of the 2024 season in the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) and the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship saw Porsche Penke Motorsport - the brand's works team - scoop up all six possible titles in North America as well as the world championship crown in the WEC, narrowly missing out on the manufacturer's title in the world championship with the 963 by just two points.

The Porsche 963 rolled out in Weissach for the first time in January 2022, with test drives of over 30,000km before premiering the 515kW hybrid prototype at Daytona 2023

Key to Porsche's success were victories at Daytona 2024 in the U.S.A and the FIA WEC in Qatar, instilling the belief and getting the ball rolling.

Having missed out on the Manufacturers' World Championship and the 20^th overall victory in Le Mans, Porsche has made them both its biggest goals for the 2025 season.
