On the evening of 6 April 2025, YHI Corporation Pte Ltd (YHI), supported by Yokohama, hosted its annual dealers' appreciation night at the PARKROYAL COLLECTION Pickering hotel.

YHI treated its guests to an evening of fun and games, with good food and drinks as well as a music performance and a lucky draw. It also presented its top performers with awards as commemoration for their efforts. This year, in tandem with the award ceremony, YHI also celebrated the local launch of a new tyre model.

The Advan Sport EV V108 is a high-performance tyre that is developed exclusively for EVs by delivering a low rolling resistance and quiet exterior noise levels, which was made possible with the inclusion of Yokohama's 'SILENTFOAM' technology. The latter comprises a specially designed polyurethane foam that is attached to the inside of the tyre and absorbs vibrations to lower the decibel levels created when it is rolling.

Also on display were two tyre models that were previously launched: The Advan Sport V107 and the Advan Db (E+) V553.

To recap, the Advan Sport V107 is a high-performance tyre utilising a tread design that has been proven reliable for driving stability in both dry and wet conditions. It also offers stability and handling and is designed for a range of vehicles, including high-performance sedans, coupes, and SUVs, as well as EVs. Like the Advan Sport EV V108, it also features Yokohama's 'SILENTFOAM' technology for added noise reduction.

The Advan Db (E+) V553, on the other hand, is described as a quiet, comfortable, and fuel-efficient tyre designed for use on EVs and PHEVs. It features a unique tread pattern and construction that minimises noise and rolling resistance. Its (E+) designation indicates that the tyre is suitable for use on EVs, and has been optimised for their specific needs.

In addition, handed out on the night were the Apex Achiever, Titanium Awards, and Platinum Awards. Dealers such as Tom's Tyres, Kim Hoe Tyre & Battery, Hup Lee Tyre & Battery, Arrow Tyres Tampines, and Beng Heng Tyres Batteries were among the Top 10 winners of some of the aforementioned awards.

To end the night, Yokohama and YHI executives thanked the respective award winners, as well as the attending guests, for their efforts and support.
