DEEPAL S05 Electric

Went to test drive BYD Atto3, M6, Jaecoo 6, MG S5, Deepal S05 as they are above the same cost range. During paper exercise, my wife fell in love with the Jaecoo 6 design and look. It was indeed nice. All the car test drive were all okay as my current car is very basic, I did not test the technology during driving just the regen braking. Regen braking smoothness -> BYD, MG, Deepal, Jaecoo. Jaecoo suspension seem good, but the other test drives did not go over humps. All the car technology seem the same. Customer service plan a part and the sale person allocated also affected our consideration. BYD - Best service, very knowledgeable on the car. MG - Okay service, okay knowledgeable on the car. Deepal - Good service, but car came out only 1 month so not very knowledgeable. But will try to test and check everything I ask. Jaecoo - Okay service, okay knowledgeable on the car. But was irritated with the showing of past customers purchase photos. One funny thing is they dont offer free servicing. And when I ask where to service in Singapore, sale person keep recommend go JB to service. During my paper exercise, i wanted to have all necessary buttons to be physical to avoid any unnecessary hassle to press the screen. But I somehow ended loving the deepal S05 that has the least buttons. Maybe the other side of me wanted to go for minimalist design. I have an argument with my wife as she inclined for J6 while I inclined for D5. But a big no for me is the range for J6 as I travel from west to east daily. Originally my wife only test drive J6. But during our intense discussion at deepal, the sale person recommend my wife to test drive, and somehow my wife was convinced with deepal ride and feeling. 3rd week driving the Deepal S05 and below are my honest sharing on the car. Test driven a few others EV options before deciding on the S05. For the price point offered for the car, I found the car to be practical, with comfort/tech features which are often optionals in other brands already set up for the car offered Comfortable rear wheel drive, can be a little bouncy at time.
