Local EV drivers living or working in the east will have more reason to rejoice. On 31 July 2026, Charge+ celebrated the launch of the largest EV charging cluster in Tampines, which is located in the Tampines Retail Park area.
Designed to cater to both high-turnover fast charging and longer-duration top-ups, the Tampines Retail Park charging cluster features a total of 38 charging points across four key buildings in close proximity.
This sees eight charging points (six DC, two AC) at Giant Hypermarket, 20 charging points (two DC, 18 AC) at IKEA Tampines, eight charging points (two DC, six AC) at Courts Tampines, and two charging points (both DC) at T-Space.
The cluster's official launch was held at Giant Hypermarket, where Minister of State, Ministry of Transport and Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth, and Mayor of the North-East District, Baey Yam Keng, officiated the opening of the space’s fast charging hub.
The cluster also features free parking at the charging stations, removing the burden of carpark fees during a charge. Coupled with Charge+'s commitment to offering some of the lowest charging tariffs among operators in Singapore, the Tampines Retail Park charging cluster delivers a fast, seamless, and cost-effective charging experience.
And by placing these 38 charging points in the key component buildings of the bustling Tampines Retail Park area, Charge+ enables drivers to integrate vehicle charging effortlessly into their weekly routines.
This also supports LTA's vision of establishing a network of fast charging hubs across Singapore - including at least one in every HDB town - to meet the growing demand for EV charging, complementing the islandwide rollout of overnight and destination charging.
