The upgraded Gallardo is based on the LP560-4 edition, and Edo Competition has given it a power boost, with the Gallardo LP600/4 now producing 600bhp and 572Nm of torque, 40bhp and 32Nm more than before. As a result, the Gallardo LP600/4 can now zip from 0-100km/h in 3.5 seconds, 0.2 seconds faster than the LP560-4, and reach a top speed of 340km/h, an increase of 15km/h.
Other changes include a new sports suspension "to improve drivability, driving dynamics and precision." Edo Competition says that the suspension features low friction shock absorbers, revised spring rates, and adjustable dampers.
The styling has also been given a minor tweak, with a new front spoiler lip, a stainless steel exhaust system with butterfly valves that are activated via a remote, and 19-inch three-piece racing wheels with artificially-aged cast centre-sections, hand-polished outer rims, and stainless steel screws outfitted with high-performance Dunlop Sport Maxx tires.
