The refreshed Laguna Coupe comes after Renault released the facelifted Scenic MPV, as well as the Megane Coupe-Cabriolet Floride Edition. The updated car, now called the Laguna Coupe “Collection 2012”, now features new LED daytime running lights and 17-inch diamond-effect alloy wheels fitted as standard.

The new Laguna Coupe, in GT 4Control and Initiale trim, is also available with the pearlescent white body colour of the Renault Laguna Coupe Monaco GP Edition, while the GT 4Control also has the option of a two-tone livery with a pearlescent black roof combined with any metallic colour. The interior has also received minor changes, with the dashboard stitching and new mixed TEP/fabric upholsteries.

The biggest change, however, is under the bonnet, where the Laguna Coupe now receives a new 2.0-litre dCi 150 diesel engine with auto stop/start and brake energy recovery systems. The unit joins a whole host of other engines available in the Laguna Coupe range, including a turbocharged 2.0-litre petrol in 170bhp or 205bhp guises, a 3.5-litre naturally-aspirated V6 producing 240bhp, three versions of the M9R 2.0 dCi diesel with either 150bhp, 175bhp or 180bhp, and a 3.0-litre V9X dCi diesel that churns out 240bhp.
