The all-new C5 Aircross will be offered in three variants: The PHEV with an WLTP range of 650km, the EV with 680km, and the hybrid with 950km.

Citroen has pulled the covers off the all-new C5 Aircross, which is now being offered as a hybrid, plug-in hybrid, or in fully-electric guise. With the car's launch, the French brand states that it has completed the complete renewal of its range in less than two years, describing this new second generation model as "a step forward in every respect".

The C5 Aircross' design is powerful and muscular, yet slender and full of aerodynamic tricks. Its cabin offers immense space and a boot volume that remains identical regardless of the variant. Some interior features include progressive hydraulic cushions, innovative Advanced Comfort seats, and dashboard design featuring a large, easy-to-use Waterfall touchscreen.

Citroen describes the new C5 Aircross as offering assertive styling with a powerful on-road stance, combined with optimised aerodynamics and interior space

The new C5 Aircross offers greater peace of mind by incorporating driving aids that make life easier and offers three variants: The C5 Aircross Hybrid 145hp Automatic, C5 Aircross Hybrid Rechargeable 195 Automatic, and the Citroen e-C5 Aircross.

The C5 Aircross Hybrid 145hp Automatic is equipped with a Hybrid 48V technology combining a 1.2-litre engine with an output of 100kW (134bhp) and a 9kW (12bhp) electric motor powered by a 0.9kWh battery. Altogether, the car offers up a combined WLTP range of more than 950km.

The C5 Aircross Hybrid Rechargeable 195 Automatic is the PHEV variant, equipped with a 1.6-litre engine offering 110kW (148bhp) of output and an electric motor, powered by a 21kWh battery, that has an output of 92kW (124bhp). Combined, both the engine and the electric motor offers an output of 143kW (192bhp), giving the car an WLTP range of 650km.

The Citroen e-C5 Aircross is the EV variant and has a choice of two fully electric engines: A 157kW (211bhp) engine with a 73kWh battery offering a WLTP range of 520km, or a 170kW (228bhp) engine with a 97kWh battery offering a WLTP range of 680km. As for charging times, the former can charge from 20% to 80% in 30 minutes on 160kW fast charging, while the latter accomplishes this in 27 minutes.

In the interests of sustainability and reducing its carbon footprint, the new C5 Aircross contains 160kg of recycled metals and 47kg of recycled or bio-sourced plastics

Most of the gains made by the new C5 Aircross are based on its Stellantis STLA-Medium platform, which offers great flexibility both in terms of dimensions and powertrains, making it ideal for both hybrid and all-electric vehicles. Additionally, the platform also offers customers a host of driving aids and latest-generation connectivity and infotainment interfaces.

Developed in France and assembled at Citroen's Rennes plant, the 2025 C5 Aircross will go on sale in the main European markets in the second half of 2025.
